Some progress: but not enuf!

Child divs do not appear inside parent div. I am sure this is simple, but I don't get it.

Unable to place the tabs in the right place in div on the screen.
The image forces the content down. Maybe it is not possible.
But I think it should be possible.
Click event works, but I am unable to master the rollover.

Some Design for Final Project

I am finding it impossible to achieve this. I can't get the tabs to work. Amos's example is easy enough to understand, but when I put images in place, behavior doesn't work.

Final Project Idea: Data Dictionary for AppDev at my Firm. This application will allow the input of metadata for tables and columns in any development database [either Oracle or mySQL], send changes through rss to those who subscribe to feed. The idea has to be fleshed out a bit more.
